ABOUT

I am currently an active performer, teacher and composer based in the West Midlands with a passion for anything weird and wonderful.
In 2018 I finished my degree at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. Having studied French Horn performance with Simon De Souza, I have developed my musicianship skills whilst sidelining compositional studies with Richard Leigh Harris. I have also maintained my skills with guitar and piano to add some variety to my music making, as well as composing electronic ambient and dance music using Logic Pro X.
After touring the Beaujolais region of Southern France with Sutton Coldfield Choral Society, performing in several concerts with OSJ of Bromsgrove, and performing in numerous concerts with the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire - including Verdi's Requiem and Sibelius' 2nd Symphony, I was eager to try my hand at composition. Whilst pursuing this venture throughout my final year of study, I have also had opportunities to teach students guitar, both electric and classical, and I could not have had more fun doing so.
Since then, many hours of teaching and practicing in the studio have resulted in a private tuition business, currently with approximately 20 or more students, and various other performances both with my band and orchestras in and around Birmingham - one of my favourite being a performance of Rachmaninov's 2nd Symphony in February 2020 with the Central England Ensemble.
Of course, I am passionate about the music I play and teach, and I hope to spread this to as many people as possible.
